Biography
Hendrikus "Henk" Vredeling (20 November 1924, Amersfoort – 27 October 2007, Huis ter Heide) was a Dutch politician.
In 1956 he was first elected to the Dutch House of Representatives for the Dutch Labour Party. From 1958 to 1973 he was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP). He served as Minister of Defence (1973–1977) and European Commissioner (1977–1981).
