Introduction
Han Kuo-yu (Chinese: 韓國瑜; born 17 June 1957) is a Taiwanese politician who served in the Legislative Yuan from 1993 to 2002, serving for a time as Kuomintang caucus leader. As a legislator, he became known for his combative personality.
Han is an ally of Chang Jung-wei.
Political career
2017 KMT chairmanship election
In 2017, Han resigned his position as general manager of Taipei Agricultural Products Marketing Corporation to enter that year's Kuomintang chairmanship election. He finished fourth in a field of six candidates.
