Introduction

Grace Davies is a British singer and songwriter, from Blackburn. She was runner-up on the fourteenth series of The X Factor in 2017 mentored by Sharon Osbourne.

Career

2017: The X Factor

In her first audition, she performed an original song called "Roots", and received a resounding four yes votes from the judges. She was mentored by Sharon Osbourne, on The X Factor, along with fellow acts Alisah Bonaobra, Holly Tandy, and Rai-Elle Williams. She was voted winner of the Prize Fight in week 1 against Rak-Su, leading to win a trip to New York, meet and greet with Pink at Madison Square Garden. Following the eliminations of Alisah Bonaobra in week 6, Holly Tandy and Rai-Elle Williams in Week 8, Grace became Osbourne's last remaining act in the competition. She made the final on the weekend of 2 December 2017, alongside Kevin Davy White and Rak-Su. After the former was eliminated on Saturday's show, She was in the top two with Rak-Su and finished as the runner-up with over 50% of the public vote.

2018-present: Friends with Tragic

On 12 January 2018, Davies confirmed she had signed to Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music.

On 11 September 2019, Myers performed as a guest on America's Got Talent along with Stewart Copeland, performing "Safe and Sound" by Capital Cities. Davies performed the vocals.

On 24 January 2020, Davies announced that her debut single will be called "Invisible". The song was released on Spotify on the 31 January 2020, along with a music video available on the internet.

On 13 March 2020, Davies announced her second single called "Addicted to Blue" on Spotify. The song was released on 20 March 2020.

On 21 March 2020, Davies announced that she will release an EP this summer called Friends with Tragic.
