Biography
Introduction
Milly Toomey, better known by the stage name Girli, is an English pop musician, based in London. She has released a number of singles, that The Guardian described as veering "between PC Music, bubblegum pop, punk and rap, each one treading a line between catchy and deliberately discomforting."
Life and career
Girli is from north west London. She went to school in north London and to music college in Stratford, east London.
She performs with DJ Kitty (Rosalie Sylvia Fountain).
Girli toured the UK in September and October 2016 in support of Oscar.
She took part in Louby McLoughlin's project OKgrl, a fashion and music platform, and stylist Kylie Griffith's GRL PWR, a female-only arts collective.
