

Introduction
Gary Wayne Allison is an American writer, producer, and sound artist known for his work on The Boy Who Faced His Giant (2005), Life Goes On (2007), and Spider and the Fly (2019).
Life and career
Gary Wayne Allison was born on March 29, 1972, in Pontiac, Michigan.
Before entering the show business, he worked in corporate world and was also trained as a police officer. He also served in Naval Intelligence in the early '90s as a cryptologist.
Allison made his debut in 2004, as a sound recordist for various episodes of TV documentary series Snapped. In 2005, he wrote and produced a short video titled The Boy Who Faced His Giant, in which he also acted alongside Ric Viers and Aaron Golematis. The same year, he did sound-mixing for the "Straight Man in a Gay World" episode of Morgan Spurlock's 30 Days series.
In 2019, Allison wrote and produced another short thriller titled Spider and the Fly,starring Emily Jane Smith, John P. Ales, and Gail Shoemaker.
In March 2012, he published a novel titled There Is A Season. The novel is currently (2020) being adapted into a movie titled "Faith Under Fire," which is being directed by Joel Paul Reisig, with Kevin Sorbo, Dean Cain, and Nick Vlassopoulos in the leading cast. The film is in post-production and the release date is yet to be announced.
In April 2013, he published his second novel, The Final Round.
Allison is good friends with sound designer and writer Ric Viers with whom he runs Paperbag Theatre.
Personal life
Allison is married to his wife Kerry Kay Allison since 3 July 1993. The couple has two children.
