Introduction

Fidan Aliti (born 3 October 1993) is a Kosovo Albanian international football defender currently playing for Croatian club Slaven Belupo and the Kosovo national team.

Club career

Early career and Luzern

He started his youth career at FC Concordia Basel. He made it his first debut on 9 February 2014 against Thun in an away loss.

International career

Albania

Aliti received his first international call-up from Albania national football team coach Gianni De Biasi for the Friendly matches on 31 May, 4 & 8 June 2014 against respectively Romania, Hungary and San Marino.

Kosovo

In an interview with the Telegrafi. Aliti announced that it has received the invitation from Kosovo and his decision is not against Albania national team, but it is to help Kosovo national team and Aliti is the first player of the Kosovo national team, that comes from the Preševo Valley. On 7 November 2016, he received the call-up in match against Turkey.
