Biography
Fay Maschler is the restaurant critic of London's Evening Standard newspaper, having won a contest for the position in 1972. This was supposed to last for three months but she has since been there for over 40 years. She was born Fay Coventry in India on 15 July 1945 and was married to the publisher Tom Maschler from 1970 to 1987.
