Biography

William B. "Farmer" Weaver (March 23, 1865 in Parkersburg, West Virginia – January 23, 1943 in Akron, Ohio), is a former professional baseball player who played outfielder in the Major Leagues from 1888 to 1894. He would play for the Louisville Colonels and Pittsburgh Pirates.

On August 12, 1890, Weaver would hit for the cycle while also getting six hits in one game, a feat that would not be accomplished in the modern era (post-1900) until Ian Kinsler accomplished the feat for the Texas Rangers in April 2009.
