Introduction
Ewa Kupiec (born 2 November 1964) is a classical pianist.
Biography
Born in Duszniki-Zdrój, Kupiec studied music in Katowice, at Warsaw's Chopin Academy, and at the Royal Academy of Music, London. In 1992, she won the ARD Music Competition for Duo Piano:Cello. Since 2011, she has been professor for piano at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover in Hanover, Germany.
Kupiec has performed around the globe, not only at the most important music festivals but also with several national orchestras. Since 2003, she has enjoyed a special relationship with the conductor Stanisław Skrowaczewski, specializing in Chopin's piano concertos.
