Esther E. Manheimer is an American politician and attorney. Elected in 2013, she is the current mayor of Asheville, North Carolina. Manheimer previously served on the Asheville City Council from 2009 to 2013. She is a member of the Democratic Party.

In March of 2016, Manheimer spoke out against the controversial Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act, state legislation that eliminated anti-discrimination protections for the LGBT community.
