Emma Ann Hardy is a British Labour Party politician, elected as Member of Parliament for Hull West and Hessle at the 2017 general election. She is a member of Hessle Town Council focusing on NHS and education. Hardy is a member of Labour's National Policy Forum and was an education union employee.

Parliamentary career

Just weeks before the 2017 general election, Hardy was selected to stand for parliament in the safe Labour seat of Hull West and Hessle when the previous incumbent Alan Johnson retired. She is one of 256 women candidates put forward by the Labour Party.
