Eli Tomac (born November 14, 1992 in Cortez, Colorado) is an American professional motocross racer competing in the AMA Supercross and Motocross championships.
He made his professional debut in 2010 with Team Geico Honda, winning that season's opening AMA Motocross 250cc event in Hangtown, California.
Tomac entered the AMA Supercross Championship in 2011, winning two events — San Diego, California and Salt Lake City, Utah — in the 250cc class (then known as SX Lites).
He made his 450cc debut part way into the 2013 Supercross schedule, and moved to the class full-time the following year.
Tomac won his first outdoor 450cc event at the 2014 Spring Creek National in Millville, Minnesota. His first 450cc Supercross win came in 2015 at Phoenix's Chase Field.
Tomac signed with the Kawasaki factory team for the 2016 season. He is currently in second place in points in the 2017 AMA Supercross Championship trailing by 4 points to Ryan Dungey's 276 after a major comeback from getting a 14th place due to a bent front brake and then winning eight out of the next ten races.
