Dhananjay Panditrao Munde (born 15 July 1975) is an Indian politician and now Sworn In as Cabinet minister in Uddhav Thackeray's Cabinet On 24th Dec 2019. He has given The Social Justice & Special Assistance Department. elected as member of Maharashtra assembly in 2019 defeating his cousin Pankaja Munde with a lead of almost 31000 votes. He is representing Nationalist Congress Party.Formarly he was working as the Leader of the opposition in the Legislative Council of Maharashtra. He is the nephew of late BJP leader Gopinath Munde. He is very Close to party Leader Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar. His tenure as Leader of opposition in maharashtra legislative council is hailed as one of the best LOP ever in the upper house. He is appreciated all-over Maharashtra for his aggressive speech and organizational skills. He had a very important and remarkable role in the Halla bol Yatra and Shiv swarajya Yatra carried out by NCP. He is Considered one of the Firebrand Leader Of Nationalist Congress Party Because Of his oratary Skills. He is having very Powerful position in the party.

Education and early career

Munde completed his education In L.L.B At Symbiosis College Pune.

Political career

He is the nephew of BJP leader Gopinath Munde. He has also worked as the BJP's Youth Wing Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha's President in Maharashtra prior joining the Nationalist Congress Party in 2012 in the presence of Mr. Sharad Pawar.
