Biography
Power was born on January 30, 1982, in Arlington, Virginia. He grew up with his mother who died of stomach cancer in 2008. He has seven siblings.
He began his career as an intern at various record labels including big names like Atlantic Records and Universal. Later, he launched his career in entertainment by posting his singing and comedy videos on YouTube. His YouTube channel, which he created in April 2006, became popular instantly and currently boasts a subscriber base of over 1.8 million users with over 250 million video views. (Statistics as of January 2017.)
On his YouTube channel, he often collaborates with other YouTube stars such as Mystery Guitar Man, Freddie Wong, Ray William Johnson, Nice Peter and Kina Grannis.
Through his YouTube channel, he has also created sponsored content for major brands such as Pepsi, GE, Yahoo and Nintendo.
While his YouTube channel is dedicated mostly to his singing talent, his Vine (currently at 6.1M followers - Jan 2017) is full of hilarity. He often collaborates with King Bach on his Vine channel that he started in 2013.
