Daniel Jones (born May 27, 1997) is an American football quarterback for the Duke Blue Devils.

Early years

Jones attended Charlotte Latin School in Charlotte, North Carolina. During his career he had 6,997 passing yards and 98 touchdowns. He committed to Duke University to play college football.

College career

After redshirting his first year at Duke in 2015, Jones became the starting quarterback in 2016 after Thomas Sirk suffered a season-ending injury. He started all 12 games, completing 270 of 430 passes for 2,836 yards, 16 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
