Born from Italian parents in the French Alps, Catherine Malandrino, after graduating from Esmod she worked in the Paris couture houses of Dorothée Bis, Louis Féraud, Emanuel Ungaro in the 1990s was the creative force at the French label "Et Vous" in Paris, and then she moved to NYC to design Diane von Furstenberg collection. In 1998, she founded her namesake label in New York.
In 2013 Catherine Malandrino sold her company to explore new facets of fashion and style.
