Cameron Dallas is an American actor and social media personality with a huge following on Vine and Instagram.
Early life
Cameron Alexander Dallas was born on 8 September 1994, in Whittier, California. He is of Scottish, Mexican, and German ancestry. He grew up in Chino, California by his mother. He has an older sister, Sierra Dallas.
Career
His career in began at the age of sixteen, in late 2012, with him posting funny clips on the newly launched platform, Vine. His popularity on Vine, as well as on Instagram, on Twitter, and on Youtube grew instantly, and January 2017, he had 9.6 million followers on Vine and 17.6 million on Instagram.
His popularity on social media was noticed and it got him a role in the 2014 movie, The Expelled. In 2015, he appeared opposite Nash Grier and Caroline Sunshine in the movie The Outfield.
He also appeared in two episodes of the NBC television series, American Odyssey, and is currently the lead character of Netflix series Chasing Cameron, a reality show based on his life.
