Brett Johns

Brett Johns is a Welsh professional mixed martial artist who is currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). During his career, Johns has competed as a bantamweight.

In 2012 Johns started his professional mixed martial arts (MMA) career and, fought in the Cage Warriors and Titan FC promotions. Following 2015 fights against Walel Watson and Anthony Gutierrez, he had his big break and signed for the UFC in 2016. His signing was recorded via Skype and the emotional video made national news. His debut fight was at UFC Fight Night 99 at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where he defeated Kwan Ho Kwak via a unanimous decision. His next scheduled fight was to be against Ian Entwistle at UFC Fight Night 107 at the O2 Arena in London, England, however, after missing weight doctors pulled Entwistle from the fight. His next fight is scheduled for 16th July at UFC Fight Night 113 at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland where he will face Mitch Gagnon.
