Introduction

Brent Roske is a producer and former US Congressional candidate who lives in Hollywood, California and Iowa. Past works include 'Chasing The Hill', 'Courting Des Moines' and the TV program, Roske on Politics (Emmy® Award nominee for Best Politics/ Government Program).

Career

Brent Roske wrote and directed the political drama 'Chasing the Hill' (starring Richard Schiff, Robin Weigert and Matthew Del Negro) and the sequel 'Courting Des Moines' (starring Melissa Fitzgerald, Ed Rendell & Tom Harkin). Recently directed a PSA for Justice For Vets starring Martin Sheen and Allison Janney, written by Oscar winner Josh Singer ('Spotlight'). Roske was a creative director at NBC Universal for 9 years and ran for Congress in California's 33rd district. Roske currently hosts the bi-partisan TV series 'Roske on Politics' (Emmy® Award nominee for Best Politics/ Government Program), featuring conversations with the Presidential candidates, politicians, journalists, entertainers and community leaders. Roske was nominated for the first Emmy® Award given for broadband entertainment and received a Commemorative Los Angeles Emmy® Award for an NBC sports special. Roske ran for US Congress in CA-33.
