Boogie (rapper)

Boogie is an American rapper, from Compton, California. His debut mixtape, Thirst 48, was released on June 24, 2014, followed by his next mixtape, The Reach which was released a year later.

Boogie was born in Compton, California but spent most of his years in Long Beach. He went to school for engineering, which kickstarted his career in recording music. He is also a single father of his son, working in part-time jobs and eventually, rapping became his full-time career.

Boogie started rapping during his high school days, where he started doing some freestyle rapping with his friends. On June 24, 2014, Boogie released his first official mixtape, called Thirst 48. On June 24, 2015, Boogie released his second official mixtape, called The Reach. In August 2015, Boogie signed a deal to Interscope Records.

On October 14, 2016, Boogie released his first unofficial studio album, called Thirst 48 Pt. 2. The project features guest appearances from Dana Williams, D’anna Stewart, K Camp and Grace Weber.
