Introduction

Bernt Eveart Persson (born 24 June 1946 in Eskilstuna, Sweden) is a former Swedish international speedway rider who finished runner up in the 1972 Speedway World Championship final.

He rode in Britain for the Edinburgh Monarchs, eight seasons with the Cradley Heath Heathens, and finallya seasonwith the Sheffield Tigers. He became Swedish Champion in 1977.
