Barry Lee Lersch (September 7, 1944 – October 4, 2009) was an American, Major League Baseball player who played pitcher from 1969–1974. He played for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1969–1973 and the St. Louis Cardinals in 1974.
One of Barry's great moments was a victory in the annual Midnight Sun Game in 1964. Barry defeated the host Alaska Goldpanners of Fairbanks by a score of 10–5; 2,500 people were on hand to witness Barry's win. By finishing at 2:34 am local time, this game is in the record books for one of the latest finishing games in amateur baseball history.
