Introduction

Avery A. Williams (born September 2, 1994) is an American football linebacker who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Temple.

Early years

Williams played running back, wide receiver, linebacker, and defensive back for at Archbishop Curley High School.

College career

A role player in 2015, Williams took over the same linebacker spot in 2016 for Temple and locked up All-AAC honors appearing in 14 games, having 66 total tackles, with nine tackles for losses, two sacks, two forced fumbles and two recoveries. At the Temple pro day, Williams ran a 4.70 forty-yard dash, benched 24 reps, and vertical jumped 29 inches.

Professional career

Williams was signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2017. He was waived on September 2, 2017.
