

Aoife Mannion

Aoife Mannion (born 24 September 1995) is an English football defender who plays for Birmingham City L.F.C.
Playing career
Club
Birmingham City, 2013–present
After advancing through Aston Villa's Centre of Excellence, Mannion signed for Birmingham City F.C. in 2013. On October 16, 2013, at the age of 18, she played in a match against PK-35 Vantaa in the first leg of the 2013-14 UEFA Women's Champions League Round of 32. Birmingham defeated PK-35 Vantaa 1–0 and advanced to the Round of 16. She re-signed for the Blues in 2016.
International
Mannion has represented England on the under-15, under-17, under-19 and under-23 national teams. She was a member of England's squad at the 2010 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship tournament and the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Canada. In May 2015, she was named to the England under-23 national team for the Nordic Tournament. In March 2016, she played for the under-23 team at a tournament in La Manga, Spain.
