Biography
Alister Jack (born in Dumfries in 1964) is a Scottish Conservative Party politician. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dumfries and Galloway since June 2017.
Jack is a farmer.
In 1997 Jack fought Tweeddale, Ettrick and Lauderdale, but came third, being defeated by the Liberal Democrat future Secretary of State for Scotland Michael Moore.
